COVID-19
External School Review during Covid February 2021
''The approach adopted by the school to managing the issues and challenges posed by the Coronavirus pandemic reflect its commitment to ensuring the very best provision for all pupils regardless of circumstances. The wholehearted response of staff supported by clear and robust leadership is reflected in the speedy response to the first lock down and the enhanced and improved provision in Lockdown 2. The willingness of the leadership team to reflect on and learn from the lockdowns to improve the curriculum offer and identify those strategies, which could be deployed in future, is testament to the drive, energy and commitment of the Executive Head. The support to pupils, their families and the community has been outstanding.''
''All pupils and families have been provided with appropriate technology to enable online learning and the school has arranged an excellent programme of support for parents and pupils to develop and enhance their IT skills through home visits, phone support and written guidance. The level of IT capability and confidence in the community has been significantly enhanced and through pupils, parents and the school working together there is an even greater degree of trust than prior to lockdown.''
